Our church is going to embark on a journey over the next 4 weeks. It is a program and a process that is offered to us by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund and with support from the Northwest District of the LCMS. This journey is intended to help us see and receive by faith all that we have in this life as an undeserved gift from God – everything. And to then respond to God’s abundant grace in the way He anticipates.
Jesus said, “Come, follow me and I will make you….” Consecrated Stewards, the name of the program, will guide us into greater understanding and faithful application of a Bible-based and grace-inspired paradigm for managing the gifts God has bestowed upon us. Jesus said, “Follow me.” We have been consecrated by God, set apart for His service. He calls us His stewards and has given each of us the great honor of utilizing the gifts He has given for the building of Christ’s Kingdom.
