How We Worship

What to Expect

Parking: Trinity Lutheran offers parking in one of two private parking lots:  parking at the rear (south side) of the church and parking in the side lot on the west side of the church.  There is a small amount of angled parking available on the east side of the church, which is near the front door.  There is also ample parallel street parking along 8th Street, which runs along the front (north) side of the church.

Entering The Church: Entering through the front door will bring you into the lobby where there are stairs and a ramp which lead you into the narthex.  This is the room directly outside the chapel where we worship.  You will be greeted in the narthex by church members.  Our church elders will provide you with a copy of the worship bulletin.

First Time Visitors:  Are you a first time visitor?  Please fill out a guest card, located in the pew racks, and place it in an offering plate.

Where the Children Go: We love to have children at our worship services!  We strongly believe that children should participate in worship from a young age.  We do have a cry room available for those who may need to take a breather with a fussy tyke.  At non-communion services (second and fourth Sundays each month), children can participate in the Children's Message, which is presented by Pastor or a lay member of the congregation.  Children are also encouraged to participate in Communion by crossing their arms across their chest to indicate that they wish to receive a blessing.

Sunday Education: Our Sunday Education Hour is from 9:15 to 10:15 am for all ages. These grade specific classes are in session from Labor Day until Memorial Day.
All are welcome.  Please join us!

How to Dress: We do not have a dress code.  Please dress in a manner which makes you comfortable.

Worship Service Style: The key parts of our worship service include music, prayer, Bible readings, a message from the pastor, and Communion (first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month).  Communion is available to all adults and children who are baptized and who have had Communion instruction. All worshipers are welcome at Communion to receive a blessing.  Our worship style is fairly traditional.

Fellowship Hour:  Each Sunday, Trinity provides an opportunity for informal fellowship following the worship service.  We serve sweets and coffee in the Parish Hall following the service so that we can get to know you!
